Hiring for Due Diligence Associate – Bangalore

We are looking for an experienced Due Diligence Associate with strong expertise in Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD). In this role, you will focus on assessing and evaluating high-risk clients and entities to ensure compliance with financial regulations. You will also handle PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) profiles and use a range of tools to screen entities involved in potential risks.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD): Perform in-depth investigations of high-risk individuals and entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• PEP Screening: Conduct detailed reviews of PEP profiles and understand the associated risks.

• Screening High-Risk Entities: Use multiple tools and platforms to conduct screening of clients and entities against sanctions lists, watchlists, and other risk assessments.

• Risk Mitigation: Assess the risk of entities and individuals based on due diligence findings, providing detailed reports to internal teams.

• Collaboration with Compliance Teams: Work closely with compliance, legal, and other internal teams to ensure all due diligence processes meet internal and regulatory requirements.

• Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all investigations, decisions made, and steps taken for audit and compliance purposes.

Requirements:

• Experience: 4 – 7 years in Due Diligence, with strong knowledge of EDD, AML, and KYC

• Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes

  • Strong knowledge of PEP profiles and high-risk client screening

  • Familiarity with AML/KYC regulations, particularly for high-risk clients

  • Proficiency in using various screening tools and databases for risk assessment

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce clear, concise reports

• Location: Must be based in Bangalore currently
