Hiring for Transaction Monitoring Professionals – Bangalore

We are currently seeking experienced Transaction Monitoring professionals to join our growing team. This role is ideal for compliance specialists with a strong background in AML investigations and SAR (Suspicious Activity Report) writing.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct transaction monitoring reviews, identify unusual activities, and escalate cases where necessary.

• Analyze alerts generated by systems such as Actimize or Mantas and determine whether further investigation or escalation is warranted.

• Draft detailed and accurate SARs based on findings and ensure timely submission in accordance with regulatory requirements.

• Maintain thorough documentation of investigations and support compliance reporting obligations.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless compliance process and effective risk mitigation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in transaction monitoring within the financial services or banking sector.

• Prior experience as an AML investigator with exposure to SAR writing and case disposition.

• Familiarity with transaction monitoring systems (Actimize, Mantas, or similar platforms).

• Strong understanding of global AML regulations, including the USA PATRIOT Act and other applicable legal frameworks.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, sorting/filtering data) and skilled in conducting effective internet-based research.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.

• Ability to make sound decisions and escalate matters effectively based on risk assessments.
