Hiring for KYC Remediation Specialist – Sharjah
The KYC Remediation Specialist serves as the first line of defense in the client onboarding and compliance process. This “maker” role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and updating client profiles to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. The specialist ensures all KYC documentation is complete, correct, and in line with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
Review, prepare, and update client KYC profiles for quality review and approval.
Conduct customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) as required.
Identify and escalate discrepancies or missing documentation to the appropriate teams.
Perform sanction and PEP screening, and monitor adverse media alerts.
Collaborate with compliance and operations teams to ensure remediation activities are executed timely.
Maintain accurate records and logs for audit and regulatory purposes.
Support regulatory-driven remediation projects and updates to client data.
Ensure adherence to internal policies, local regulations, and international AML/KYC standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in KYC, client onboarding, compliance operations, sanction screening, or financial services.
Experience in regulatory remediation projects is a plus.
Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
Knowledge of UAE AML/KYC regulations and global compliance standards preferred.
