Hiring for KYC Operations Manager – Chennai

 Responsibilities:
• Manage and mentor Team Leads, Quality Analysts, and KYC Analysts.
• Oversee daily operations including workflow allocation, queues, and team performance.
• Ensure strict adherence to SLAs, productivity benchmarks, accuracy, and turnaround time.
• Lead hiring, resource planning, performance evaluations, and team development.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for KYC, AML, due diligence, and account opening processes across NA, EU, and APAC regions.
• Ensure compliance with global AML regulations and internal KYC standards.
• Monitor quality through QC/QA checks and implement corrective actions for process gaps.
• Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and error reduction initiatives.
• Prepare and present MIS, operational performance reports, and risk updates.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, auditors, and internal partners for smooth operations.

Candidate Profile:
• 10+ years of experience in banking, AML, KYC, and compliance operations with global exposure.
• Strong knowledge of KYC/AML frameworks, CDD/EDD, sanctions, PEP screening, and account opening processes.
• Proven experience managing large teams and high-volume operations.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• CAMS or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience with platforms such as Pega, Fenergo, Actimize, or other KYC case management systems is desirable.
