AIQU Hiring for SAR Compliance Officer – Dubai
We are seeking a SAR Compliance Officer with a strong background in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and financial crime compliance to join our client’s team. This role involves monitoring financial transactions, identifying suspicious activity, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Responsibilities:
- Monitor financial transactions to identify and report suspicious activity.
- Prepare and submit Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct KYC (Know Your Customer) checks, sanctions screening, and name screening to ensure compliance.
- Analyze financial data to detect potential money laundering, fraud, or terrorist financing risks.
- Ensure all compliance reports and documentation are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Stay updated on UAE Central Bank regulations and international compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and regulatory authorities to strengthen AML compliance measures.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in banking or exchange houses in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of goAML (UAE’s financial intelligence reporting system).
- Expertise in AML, KYC, sanctions compliance, and financial crime regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum); a globally recognized AML certification (e.g., CAMS, ICA, or CFCS) is a plus.
