Ernst & Young (EY) is looking for experienced professionals to join its AML Transaction Monitoring team in Bangalore. Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze complex financial transactions, including fund transfers, deposits, and withdrawals, to identify potential suspicious activity.
• Conduct detailed investigations into flagged alerts to determine the legitimacy of transactions and identify potential money laundering or terrorist financing risks.
• Prepare clear and concise Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) in compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Collaborate with compliance officers and other stakeholders to ensure cases are escalated and resolved efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to internal AML policies, regulatory guidelines, and industry standards.
• Contribute to process improvements and share insights on risk trends across business units.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
• Professional certifications such as CAMS, CFE, or ICA are highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of AML laws, FATF recommendations, and global compliance frameworks.
• Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.
