Hiring for AML Analyst – UAE
We are looking for an AML Analyst to join our client’s compliance team in the UAE. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals eager to develop their expertise in financial crime prevention within a dynamic financial services environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct transaction monitoring, screening, and reviews to identify potential suspicious activity.
Support end-to-end AML and compliance processes including customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD).
Assist in preparing reports, escalation files, and recommendations for further investigation.
Maintain accurate records of alerts, investigations, and regulatory submissions.
Work closely with compliance officers to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory frameworks.
Contribute to strengthening risk management frameworks and internal controls.
Stay updated with regulatory changes and best practices in AML and financial crime compliance.
Skills & Qualifications:
1 to 2 years of experience in compliance, AML, or risk within the financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of MS Excel and analytical tools for data analysis and reporting.
Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or equivalent (preferred).
Knowledge of digital assets/virtual assets is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
