Hiring for AML/KYC professionals – Hyderabad
We are hiring experienced AML KYC professionals for multiple roles in Hyderabad. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong analytical skills and experience handling complex KYC and AML processes in a global banking environment.
• Handle complex AML/KYC cases, including Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), account activity reviews, and KYC onboarding for both individuals and corporate entities.
• Conduct ongoing monitoring of client accounts to identify suspicious transactions, sanction breaches, and politically exposed person (PEP) risks.
• Coordinate with multiple internal teams—front office, compliance, AML middle office, legal, operations, and tax—to ensure smooth and compliant client onboarding within tight deadlines.
• Perform periodic due diligence renewals to detect changes in client risk profiles, reputation, or operational risk factors.
• Review and monitor implementation of AML-related audit findings and regulatory recommendations to ensure full compliance.
• Support the design, testing, and enhancement of client due diligence systems, reports, and databases.
• Interact with onsite controllers and stakeholders on operational issues, escalation, and continuous process improvements.
• Develop and operationalize new AML/KYC procedures and ensure their alignment with business objectives and compliance mandates.
• Provide quality assurance across onboarding, periodic reviews, and event-driven reviews.
• Help optimize the client onboarding experience by reducing redundant touchpoints while maintaining regulatory and procedural compliance.
• Gather key performance and risk metrics across business units to prepare transparent, data-driven management information (MI) reports.
• Ensure strong understanding of global regulatory requirements, including FATF, OFAC, EU AMLD, and other relevant frameworks.
• Monitor, assess, and report AML and KYC risks arising from changes in laws, client activities, or product offerings.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness in documentation while ensuring timely escalation of red flags.
• Support knowledge transfer and provide guidance to team members in operational areas.
• Contribute to internal audits and regulatory inspections by maintaining audit-ready documentation and evidence.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, AML standards, and external regulatory requirements.
• Use data tools effectively for transaction analysis and risk mitigation.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong experience in AML, KYC, CDD, EDD, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring.
• Exposure to international banking operations and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and time management skills, especially for senior-level positions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• International exposure is mandatory for all roles.
