Hiring for AML/KYC Roles | Pune
As an AML/KYC Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate client profiles for both new and existing clients. The role involves conducting periodic reviews, ensuring due diligence during client onboarding, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. You will use various screening tools and collaborate with relationship managers to validate client information and ensure the integrity of client data.
Responsibilities:
Perform KYC onboarding and periodic reviews for new and existing clients in compliance with global regulations.
Conduct detailed due diligence, including identity verification and beneficial ownership validation.
Prepare and update client profiles using internal systems and online research tools.
Perform name screening and adverse media checks through tools such as QSS, Actimize, or Lexis Nexis.
Collaborate with internal teams, relationship managers, and compliance officers for data collection and clarification.
Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure accuracy of client information.
Monitor and report any discrepancies or potential compliance issues in accordance with AML policies.
Support administrative tasks related to client maintenance and KYC record management.
Contribute to the overall success of the compliance team through continuous process improvement.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in AML/KYC operations.
Strong knowledge of global KYC processes, particularly corporate client due diligence.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with screening tools such as QSS, Actimize, or Lexis Nexis preferred.
Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks (FATF, OFAC, PEP, Sanctions).
Candidates from investment banking backgrounds are preferred.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Must be willing to work in rotational EMEA and APAC shifts.
