Hiring for AML Transaction Monitoring Specialist – Bangalore

Responsibilities:
• Conduct transaction monitoring reviews across transfers, deposits, and withdrawals to identify suspicious patterns or potential money laundering activities.
• Investigate unusual or high-risk transactions, prepare detailed case summaries, and escalate issues to senior compliance teams when required.
• Draft and review Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to global AML policies and local regulatory requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation, evidence, and audit trails in line with internal standards.
• Support process improvements and provide insights to strengthen AML controls and monitoring systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of AML regulations, financial crime compliance, and risk management frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with transaction monitoring systems and alert investigation workflows.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear escalation and reporting.
• Professional certification such as CAMS, CFE, or ICA will be an advantage.
