Hiring for Analyst / Associate –  Bangalore (Compliance Operations) 

Acuity Knowledge Partners is looking to hire professionals to join its Compliance Operations team, focusing on Marketing Material Review (MMR). This role is ideal for individuals who have a background in financial services or compliance, with a strong attention to detail and an understanding of regulatory requirements related to financial promotions and client communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze marketing and communication materials (e.g., brochures, presentations, factsheets, commentaries) to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (SEC, FINRA, FCA, etc.) and internal policies.

  • Work closely with compliance teams and client stakeholders to interpret and apply regulatory rules and standards across different jurisdictions.

  • Check for accuracy, balance, fairness, risk disclosures, and consistency in messaging, product details, and disclaimers.

  • Identify potential compliance risks in communication content and escalate as necessary.

  • Collaborate with legal, marketing, and business teams to streamline approval processes and support timely go-to-market timelines.

  • Maintain proper documentation and records of material reviews for audit and internal compliance requirements.

  • Stay updated on regulatory developments and compliance best practices within the investment and asset management sectors.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 1–4 years of relevant experience in compliance, marketing review, content review, or legal documentation within financial services.

  • Familiarity with global regulatory guidelines (SEC, FINRA, FCA, etc.) related to marketing and client communications.

  • Ability to analyze complex information, interpret regulations, and provide clear guidance to stakeholders.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Experience working in a compliance ops or client documentation review function is a plus.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Law.

  • Professional certifications in compliance or investment operations (e.g., ICA, CAMS, CFA) would be advantageous.
