Fuld & Company is seeking a highly driven Associate or Senior Associate to join our dynamic Private Credit Research team in Mumbai. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead analysts, manage client engagements, and deliver actionable insights in the private credit domain.

We are looking for finance professionals with a deep understanding of credit risk, investment research, financial modeling, and deal evaluation—ready to support top-tier investment firms, asset managers, and direct lenders.

 Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth credit risk assessments of private companies using financial analysis and modeling.

• Build and review complex financial models including DCF, LBO, and comparable company analysis.

• Support clients with deal evaluation, including analysis of capital structures, debt terms, and covenant compliance.

• Collaborate directly with clients to understand project requirements and ensure timely delivery of insights.

• Prepare detailed industry research reports, peer benchmarking, and company profiles for private debt investment decisions.

• Guide junior analysts and ensure high-quality output aligned with client expectations.

• Stay updated with macroeconomic and industry-specific developments affecting credit markets.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in Private Credit, Investment Banking, or Buy-Side Credit Research.

• Proficient in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and business research.

• Strong understanding of credit metrics, debt structures, and private market investing.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset.

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field. CFA or CA is a plus.
