Hiring for Compliance Officer – Dubai

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Compliance Officer with direct experience in the gold or precious metals industry. This role involves ensuring that all operations and transactions comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

 Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update compliance policies and procedures in line with evolving regulatory requirements

• Review and manage KYC files for both new and existing clients and suppliers

• Conduct Anti-Money Laundering (AML) risk assessments and monitor transactional activity for suspicious behavior

• Perform sanctions screening and escalate suspicious activity by filing internal STR/SAR reports to the MLRO

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting via the GoAML platform as per DPMSR compliance requirements

• Maintain confidentiality in all compliance matters and support internal governance initiatives

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in a compliance role within the gold or precious metals industry

• Strong knowledge of AML, KYC, DPMSR regulations, and compliance best practices

• High attention to detail and a strong sense of risk management

• Prior experience working with the GoAML platform is preferred

• Excellent analytical, documentation, and reporting skills
