We are seeking a UAE National with a strong banking background to join our Compliance team. As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the bank’s operations and business activities adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Responsibilities
• Support the implementation and maintenance of compliance frameworks and policies
• Monitor transactions and customer activity for suspicious or non-compliant behavior
• Assist in the review and enhancement of the bank’s AML/CFT program
• Conduct regular compliance assessments and risk evaluations
• Liaise with regulators and internal departments for audits, reports, and inquiries
• Prepare compliance reports and escalate concerns as needed
• Stay updated on local and international regulatory changes impacting the banking sector
Qualifications and Skills
• UAE National (mandatory)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the banking sector
• Solid understanding of compliance, AML/CFT, and regulatory frameworks
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Familiarity with UAE Central Bank regulations is a plus
