Hiring for Compliance Tuning Analyst – Dubai
We are hiring a Compliance Tuning Analyst for a leading financial institution in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AML/CFT compliance tuning, data analysis, and risk mitigation. This role requires strong technical skills in SAS, SQL, Python, and advanced statistical modeling to optimize compliance processes and reduce false positives in AML alerts.
Responsibilities
AML/CFT Compliance Optimization
- Reduce false positives in AML/CFT alert detection to enhance compliance accuracy.
- Improve the quality of AML/CFT alerts by fine-tuning detection models.
- Analyze and refine Transaction Monitoring, FATCA, and CRS alert systems.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Analysis
- Apply AML typologies to strengthen risk assessment frameworks.
- Work closely with compliance teams to enhance regulatory adherence.
- Ensure monitoring and screening systems comply with UAE financial regulations.
Data Analysis & Statistical Modeling
- Develop classification, regression, and clustering models for AML risk assessment.
- Utilize SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS E-miner, SQL, and Python for compliance data analysis.
- Perform data mining and text analytics to identify patterns in financial transactions.
- Enhance AML transaction monitoring by leveraging FiServ or similar tools.
Qualifications & Required Skills
- 5-6 years of experience in AML compliance and financial crime risk management.
- Strong knowledge of SAS Enterprise Guide, SQL, Python, and data analytics.
- Expertise in AML transaction monitoring, FATCA, CRS, and financial crime compliance.
- Experience working with compliance monitoring and screening systems.
- Advanced Excel skills for data reporting and analysis.
- Certifications preferred: ACAMS, ICA Diploma, or SAS EG Certification.
