Hiring for KYC Analyst  – Pune

We are hiring experienced professionals for a key role in a globally recognized financial institution’s client onboarding and KYC team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in client due diligence, periodic reviews, and global client onboarding standards. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced and regulated financial environment with exposure to international compliance practices.

Responsibilities
• Perform end-to-end KYC for onboarding, periodic reviews, and client refresh for a global client base
• Review and verify corporate documents including incorporation certificates, ownership structures, UBO identification, and tax-related information
• Evaluate client risk ratings based on jurisdiction, client type, and transaction behavior
• Collaborate with internal compliance, legal, and relationship teams to ensure accurate documentation and timely onboarding
• Escalate and track red flags such as adverse media, sanctions hits, and PEP matches according to internal policy
• Maintain thorough and audit-ready documentation for all client cases in internal systems
• Stay informed of global regulatory updates and apply them to onboarding procedures where necessary
• Support continuous process improvement and help implement best practices in KYC operations

Required Skills & Expertise
• 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in KYC, client onboarding, or periodic review within the financial services or banking industry
• Familiarity with global KYC regulatory frameworks (e.g., FATF, OFAC, EU, AMLD)
• Strong understanding of various client entity types: corporates, trusts, partnerships, and financial institutions
• High attention to detail with strong documentation, research, and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with internal stakeholders across global regions
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and meet quality standards
