Hiring for KYC Team Lead / Manager – Sharjah
We are seeking an experienced KYC Team Lead or Manager to join our dynamic team in Sharjah on a short-term contractual basis. This is a great opportunity for professionals with a strong compliance background to work with a fast-paced financial services firm.
Lead and manage a team of KYC analysts responsible for onboarding and periodic reviews of clients
Oversee day-to-day KYC operations and ensure adherence to internal and external regulatory standards
Review and approve high-risk client profiles and escalations as per defined policies
Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and completeness of KYC documentation
Provide training, coaching, and performance management for the KYC team
Collaborate with compliance and risk departments to strengthen due diligence processes
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure timely completion of KYC reviews
Identify process improvement areas and contribute to workflow optimization
Stay updated with regulatory changes and implement required updates in the KYC process
Minimum 5+ years of experience in KYC, AML, and client due diligence, with at least 2 years in a team lead or managerial capacity
Strong knowledge of local and international AML/KYC regulations
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
Proven ability to manage teams and deliver results under tight deadlines
Proficiency in compliance tools and KYC software systems
Must have a valid UAE residency/own visa (mandatory for this position)
Availability for a short-term contract with immediate start
