Hiring for Money Laundering Reporting Officer – Dubai
We are hiring a Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for a leading financial institution in DIFC, Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for AML compliance, regulatory adherence, and financial crime risk management while ensuring compliance frameworks align with international and DIFC regulations.
Responsibilities
AML Compliance & Risk Mitigation
- Identify AML risks and develop compliance policies to mitigate financial crime.
- Oversee day-to-day AML operations and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Ensure strict adherence to DIFC and DFSA AML guidelines.
Transaction Monitoring & SAR Reporting
- Act as the primary contact for Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and ensure timely reporting to regulatory bodies.
- Monitor high-risk transactions and financial activities to prevent money laundering risks.
- Implement and enhance transaction monitoring systems to detect suspicious activities.
Regulatory Compliance & Policy Enforcement
- Conduct compliance training and awareness programs for employees.
- Oversee Marketing Materials Compliance Reviews and ensure adherence to financial marketing regulations.
- Enforce Chinese Walls Policy and monitor personal account dealing rules to prevent conflicts of interest.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- 7+ years of experience in AML compliance, financial crime prevention, and risk management (preferably in DIFC).
- Strong knowledge of DIFC, DFSA, and international AML regulations.
- Compliance or Law degree (ACAMS certification preferred).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive compliance initiatives.
