As a Transaction Monitoring Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial transactions to detect suspicious activity and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. You will play a vital role in mitigating financial crime risks and supporting a robust AML framework.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and investigate alerts generated by transaction monitoring systems.
Conduct in-depth reviews of high-risk transactions and escalate issues as required.
Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on clients.
Support sanctions screening and ensure compliance with global AML regulations.
Maintain accurate investigation records and prepare reports for internal and external audits.
Collaborate with compliance, operations, and other internal teams to resolve issues.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and optimize AML monitoring procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
3–7 years of experience in Transaction Monitoring, AML, KYC, or compliance roles.
Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with transaction monitoring tools, sanctions lists, and compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, or related field; certifications like CAMS are a plus.
