Hiring for Transaction Monitoring Analyst – Gurugram
As a Transaction Monitoring Analyst, you will play a crucial role in detecting and preventing financial crimes by conducting thorough investigations on flagged transactions. You will work closely with the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) and Compliance teams to ensure the bank adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Conduct detailed Level 2 (L2) and Level 3 (L3) investigations on suspicious transactions and activities reported by the transaction monitoring systems.
Analyze complex financial data to identify unusual patterns or behaviors that may indicate money laundering, fraud, or terrorist financing.
Prepare and file accurate Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and other regulatory reports to the relevant authorities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Compliance, Risk, and Legal to manage financial crime risks effectively.
Ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), and other applicable regulatory frameworks.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving financial crime typologies, sanctions, and regulatory guidelines.
Participate in periodic reviews and audits related to transaction monitoring and investigation processes.
Proven experience in L2 and L3 transaction investigations within banking or financial services.
Hands-on experience in SAR filing and working with Financial Intelligence Units (FIUs).
Strong understanding of CTF/STR procedures and regulatory compliance.
Ability to analyze large volumes of transaction data and identify red flags or suspicious trends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare clear investigation reports.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

This is an office-based role in Gurugram with regular day shifts.
