Job Description

Hiring for Transaction Monitoring Analyst –  Remote

We have multiple openings for Transaction Monitoring roles in a Global Banking Process. If you have experience in Correspondent Banking and are available immediately or currently serving your notice period, we encourage you to apply.

 Responsibilities:

  • Monitor transactions for Individuals, Corporates, MSBs, FIs, and Government Entities to detect potential money laundering activities.
  • Review alerts, analyze transaction patterns, and conduct in-depth investigations for high-risk accounts.
  • Raise Requests for Information (RFI) to banks for additional details and escalate red flags or suspicious activities to Level 2 for Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) filing.
  • Detect and assess suspicious financial transactions, including rapid fund movements, large-dollar transactions, politically exposed persons (PEPs), and transfers to/from high-risk locations.
  • Conduct negative news screening on customers and their affiliates using industry tools like LexisNexis, World-Check, and DDIQ to assess compliance risks.
  • Draft detailed case narratives summarizing alerts, findings, and recommendations on whether to escalate or close cases.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail while using industry-standard tools.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of AML regulations and transaction monitoring processes.
  • Experience in Correspondent Banking is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in using financial crime detection tools and databases.
  • Excellent analytical and investigative skills with the ability to detect suspicious patterns.
  • Ability to draft detailed reports and communicate findings clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as CAMS, CFCS, or ICA are preferred.
