Hiring for Transaction Monitoring – Chennai
Responsibilities
• Monitor customer transactions to identify unusual, suspicious, or high-risk activity in line with AML guidelines and internal policies.
• Handle fraud dispute cases for credit and debit cards, including both fraud and non-fraud scenarios, ensuring accurate investigation and timely resolution.
• Conduct first-level AML checks, analyze transaction patterns, and escalate potential red flags to senior teams for further review.
• Review sanctions-related alerts, perform initial screening, and validate true/false positives as applicable.
• Maintain case documentation, prepare investigation summaries, and ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support dispute handling, chargeback processes, and the prevention of financial losses.
• Adhere to SLAs, quality benchmarks, and operational controls for a North America–based 24×7 rotational shift project.
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience in L1 Transaction Monitoring (mandatory).
• Experience in fraud dispute handling for credit/debit cards.
• Exposure to sanction screening or AML processes is an added advantage.
• Must have experience working in international processes.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in high-volume environments.
• Comfortable with 24×7 rotational shifts.
