We are currently seeking a KYC Documentation Analyst with expertise in Private Wealth Management to join a leading financial institution on a contract basis.

πŸ“ Location: Melbourne (On-site or hybrid based on client preference)
πŸ“ Contract Type: 12-month contract

As a KYC Documentation Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and validating KYC documentation and ensuring compliance with the Client Identification Program (CIP) and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in private client onboarding within a Private Wealth Management environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify documentation for new and existing private wealth clients in accordance with internal KYC policies and procedures.

  • Ensure full compliance with Australian regulatory requirements, particularly the Client Identification Program (CIP).

  • Conduct Source of Wealth (SoW) and Source of Funds (SoF) assessments where required.

  • Identify any gaps or deficiencies in client documentation and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records across systems.

  • Work closely with client onboarding, compliance, and relationship management teams to support a seamless client experience.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience in KYC for Private Wealth clients is mandatory.

  • Deep understanding of Client Identification Programs (CIP) and Source of Wealth requirements.

  • Familiarity with regulatory obligations relevant to high-net-worth client onboarding.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client files simultaneously.

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

  • Candidates with only Transaction Monitoring or Financial Crime backgrounds will not be considered for this role.
