Idigov Real Estate Hiring for AML Compliance Officer –  Dubai

Idigov Real Estate is currently seeking a qualified and proactive AML Compliance Officer to lead our anti-money laundering efforts. This position plays a key role in safeguarding the company’s integrity by ensuring all regulatory obligations under UAE AML/CFT laws are met.

As the AML Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for independently overseeing the company’s compliance framework, managing ongoing AML activities, handling regulatory submissions, and serving as the primary liaison with authorities such as the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU).

 Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage all activity through the AML compliance portal

• Conduct risk-based due diligence and enhanced due diligence (EDD) checks on clients and transactions

• Handle regulatory filings including Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs), Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), and other submissions to authorities such as RERA and the FIU

• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date internal AML policies and procedures

• Deliver AML training and awareness sessions to employees across departments

• Conduct regular internal AML audits to assess the effectiveness of controls

• Act as the company’s point of contact for regulators and financial crime enforcement bodies

• Ensure compliance with UAE AML/CFT regulations and guidelines issued by the Ministry of Economy, Central Bank, and other regulatory bodies

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of proven experience in an AML, compliance, or risk management role (real estate or financial sector preferred)

• Recognized AML certification such as CAMS, ICA, or UAE Ministry of Economy AML Course is mandatory

• Strong knowledge of UAE AML laws and familiarity with regulatory reporting portals

• Excellent communication and report-writing skills

• High attention to detail, strong organizational ability, and the capability to work independently in a standalone compliance role

• Professionalism, discretion, and accountability in handling sensitive compliance matters
